Please note: The Workday Entry Deadline refers to employee specific inputs to be included for the period (e.g. compensation changes, employment status changes, referral payments, commissions, employee pay election changes, employee tax status changes, etc.). All items must be submitted and approved prior to the established deadline to be in the week's paycheck. No exceptions can be made.
Additionally: For exempt employees with start dates that are less than 5 days from the "payroll transmission date", the payment for the partial period will be included in the following pay check. (i.e. those starting on 5/24/23, will receive pay for the 5/24-5/31 period in the 6/15/23 paycheck.)
Pay slips are viewable in Workday 48 hours prior to PAY DATE. (e.g. If PAY DATE is on a Friday it will be viewable on Wednesday. If PAY DATE is on Monday, it will be viewable on Saturday.)
Important New Hire/Payroll Information:
- Work location: Please ensure that both your work and home location state match. Should you have any issues, please reach out to your manager. (Work location drives taxation, please ensure correct)
- Social Security Number: Please ensure this has been entered into Workday prior to payroll transmission to avoid a delay in your payment.
- Banking information: Any direct deposit rejected due to incorrect account/routing numbers will result in a delay of payment. Please note, in the event that your funds are rejected, Oscar Payroll will need to wait for the funds to actually be credited and this can take 3-5 business days.
- Tax elections: Please ensure that all tax elections have been entered into Workday including any local taxes that may be applicable. I have included a how to guide that may be helpful: Payroll Self Service Tax Elections
- Visa (if applicable): Confirm that proper documentation and Citizenship status have been uploaded into Workday with approval from Oscar Immigration (immigration@hioscar.com) to ensure proper taxation of your paychecks.
